ABOUT INTEC Our Plant
Intec's new, state-of-the-art facility in Everett, Washington, was constructed in 2004. This world class building was custom-engineered and designed to meet the most demanding testing and manufacturing needs of today's clients. The facility is more than 30,000 square feet.
The facility's completely enclosed Material Test Lab features all new air, vacuum, hydraulic and data transmission lines. In addition, the testing area features its own separate climate and humidity control to maintain a steady environmental atmosphere within the test lab.
Our Strong Back and Load Floor area now features two load floors and incorporates additional peripheral room for the set up and testing of large, complex structures and component testing.
Intec's full-service Thermal Analysis Chemical Lab has been expanded to over three times the size of our previous laboratory, and features a bright, well lit and clean environment with its own set of environmental controls to help insure accuracy and repeatability.
We have expanded the Thermal Conditioning Chamber area to facilitate additional conditioning chambers. This includes hot water and chemical (JP4, DI fluid etc.) immersion tanks as well as the various Hot /Wet conditions.
Intec's Manufacturing area contains a large, well lit, positive pressure Clean Room, and a composite and metal specimen, part and tooling machine shop. On the Composite Fabrication side, we now have 10,000 additional square feet of lay up and processing area that contains two large processing ovens, two Autoclaves, press, VARTM and RTM and Thermoset Prepreg and Thermoplastic fabrication capabilities.
