STRUCTURAL TESTING

Multi Axis Testing to 2.5Mlbs

FAA DAR Conformity and DER Witnessing

Intec’s new, state-of-the-art Structural Test Facility is designed to support a wide range of certification, research and proof testing. The lab specializes in the research and certification of large composite structures in both static and fatigue. Strong backs and load floors combined with large scale test frames (2.5Mlbs capacity) provide the foundation for which tests can be safely and efficiently performed. Test Types include static and fatigue and vibration.

Intec has a full range of actuators, load cells and standard reaction fixturing for a large variety of structural shapes. An in-house engineering group supports design and structural analysis (FEA) of load introduction and reaction fixtures through solid modeling, assuring stiffness and strength while providing easy integration with component models.

    Project Management:
  • Load introduction and reaction fixturing design
  • FEA structural analysis
  • FAA certification
  • Test Plan Design
  • Manufacturing of support fixturing
  • Test Reports
    Facility:
  • Strong backs, load floors
  • Multi-axis (up to 6 axis)
  • Controlled environment
  • Multi-tier wiffle tree loading
  • Fatigue and vibration testing
  • In-situ impact
    Instrumentation
  • More than 500 Channels of Data Acquisition
  • Strain gages, crack gages
  • In-situ NDE analysis
  • Growth detection (acoustic, crack growth)
  • High-speed video and photography
  • Shadow and in-plane moiré, photo elasticity

Intec offers the full range of products and services to meet your testing needs, from the design of a test plan, to the manufacture of raw materials and structures, to the testing and certification of systems.
